Silver Elite Questions

How much does Silver Elite cost?

Membership in Silver Elite is FREE. Member socials, health seminars and fun activities like bingo are FREE.

What events are coming up?

Your health, safety and well-being are of utmost importance to us. Due to COVID-19, all Silver Elite events are postponed until further notice. Please continue to visit silverelite.org for event updates.

Where are events held?

Silver Elite hosts events in the Tulsa, Owasso, Claremore, Cushing, Pryor and Henryetta areas.

What happens after I join?

Once your membership form has been processed (please allow 30 days), you will begin receiving our newsletter and events information once we reopen events. If you do not receive any mail from us, please call 918-579-6060 or e-mail silverelite@hillcrest.com

How do I get a Silver Elite T-shirt?

You may pick up your new member T-shirt at the first Silver Elite event you attend in 2022. At events in Tulsa, stop by the Silver Elite table anytime during the event. At events outside of Tulsa, stop by the check-in table at the end of the event. T-shirts are available at official Silver Elite events only and will not be mailed. Limit one T-shirt per member.

Does Silver Elite offer exercise?

The Silver Elite program does not offer exercise. However, some private health plans provide access to free fitness memberships through the SilverSneakers® Fitness program. For more information, please visit Silver Sneakers' website or call them at 866-584-7389

For exercise in Tulsa, Hillcrest Medical Center offers affordable memberships at its fitness center. More information can be found on its Fitness Center page.

Medicare Questions

Where can I get assistance with Medicare questions?

Call the Medicare Insurance Helpline at 855-607-2615. You can receive assistance on the phone or an agent would be glad to meet with you in person. MedicareCompareUSA is an independent insurance agency that is not affiliated with the federal Medicare program. All services provided at no cost; MedicareCompareUSA and its affiliate agents are paid directly by the Medicare plan chosen by the beneficiary. Learn more at hillcrest.com/medicare.

I'm almost 65. When should I apply for Medicare?

Those turning 65 should begin looking at options three months before their birthday, according to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

When can I change my Medicare plan?

Medicare’s open enrollment period is Oct. 15 through Dec. 7. For those who currently have Medicare health or prescription drug plans, this is the time when changes can be made.

Which Medicare Advantage plans are contracted with Hillcrest?

Hillcrest HealthCare System includes Oklahoma Heart Institute and Utica Park Clinic. Medicare Advantage plans contracted with Hillcrest can be found at hillcrest.com/insurance.

What is a Medicare Wellness Visit?

Please go to medicare-exam resources for helpful information about Medicare wellness visits. For those with Medicare, these visits are encouraged within 12 months of Medicare enrollment and annually after that.
